2. Using Better Buy
You may use Better Buy for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
You must not:
- use our website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, servers, accounts or systems;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;
- interfere with the operation or security of our website;
- use automated systems to scrape, copy or extract content without our permission;

- use Better Buy in any way that infringes the rights of another person or organisation.

5. Prices
Prices displayed on Better Buy will be shown in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.
Prices will include VAT where applicable, unless clearly indicated otherwise.
Delivery charges and any other applicable charges will be shown during checkout before you place your order.
We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not normally affect orders for which a contract has already been formed.
6. Pricing and Product Errors
We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices and product information are correct.
Occasionally, an obvious pricing, description or technical error may occur.
If we discover an error relating to your order, we will contact you where appropriate and may give you the opportunity to continue with the order at the correct price or cancel it.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
7. Placing an Order
When you place an order through Better Buy, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
After you submit your order, you may receive an automated acknowledgement confirming that we have received it.
An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A legally binding contract between you and us is formed when we accept your order. Your order acceptance or dispatch communication will indicate when this occurs.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before acceptance where reasonably necessary, including because:
- the product is unavailable;
- we cannot authorise your payment;
- we identify an obvious pricing or product information error;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
- delivery is unavailable to your location; or
- we cannot fulfil the order for another legitimate reason.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount due.

You must provide accurate and complete payment information and be authorised to use the payment method provided.

9. Delivery
Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly state otherwise.
We will take reasonable steps to deliver your order within the agreed timeframe and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are accurate before submitting your order.
If there is a significant delay or we cannot deliver your order, please contact our support team.
Your legal rights relating to late or failed delivery are not affected by these terms.
10. Risk and Ownership
Responsibility for goods will pass to you in accordance with applicable UK consumer law, generally when the goods come into your physical possession or the possession of a person you have identified to receive them.
Ownership of the goods will normally pass to you once we have received payment in full.
11. Cancelling an Order
If you purchase products online as a consumer, you may have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your purchase.
For most eligible goods, you generally have 14 days after receiving your goods to tell us that you wish to cancel.
Certain products are excluded from the statutory cancellation right, including some personalised products, perishable goods and certain sealed goods once opened.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of UK consumer law.

13. Faulty Products

- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Better Buy supplies products for private and domestic use unless otherwise agreed. If you use products for commercial, business or resale purposes, different rights and limitations may apply.

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to your statutory rights.
These circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, transport disruption, industrial action, failures of telecommunications or utility networks, government action and other events we could not reasonably prevent.
If such an event materially affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and communicate with you where appropriate.
